Since my last correspondence the price of propane has risen steadily and is up about ten cents per litre from the May 2017 pricing.  As if misery loves company natural gas, oil and electricity have also risen.  Tough to catch a break as a consumer these days. My Sweetheart and I were planning to travel...

There was a slight bit of propane price movement up and down during April, but it has basically stayed steady. Now I know that steady isn’t as good as down, but it’s a whole lot better than up. I remarked to one of my staff the other day that I wish my truck was more...

Propane pricing bounced up and down throughout March, but the overall outcome is that it has fallen to more reasonable levels as we head into April. In my last newsletter, I commented that I thought winter was pretty well over. Now I know how the weather person on TV feels, say one thing and the...

Propane pricing started a slow retreat throughout the month of February, no doubt due to a slackening demand facilitated by the above average seasonal temperatures. Strange February, I must say. As I write this article, which is late in February, I would have to say that winter is pretty well over. We may get a...

Propane prices moved up and down slightly through the month of January, but pretty much stayed the same. I’m sure the mild January weather helped to keep prices in check. Of course, this time of year I’m always praying for cold weather, and although my primary objective is to sell some more propane, the mild...

I would like to wish you all a happy new year, but as it is starting out, I’m not sure how happy you are going to be. Propane prices rose steadily in December, and as of January 1st 2017, they are about seventeen cents per Litre above this time last year. The new Cap and...

Propane prices have inched up a little from last month. Still in the reasonable area, but definitely higher than this time last year. The warmer than usual weather has failed to keep them depressed.  Sorry I don’t have any definite theories on the upward pressure other than oil is moving upward and I just heard...

Well, so much for the price of propane staying down. Since our last newsletter, the price has risen about four cents per litre, and it hasn’t even gotten cold yet. Now, some of this increase is due to the price of oil going up in the month of October, and oil seems to drive everything...

Once again the summer flew by with a very notable increase in temperature, and decrease in precipitation. Propane prices were pretty flat all summer, but have bumped up a few pennies in the last few weeks. With the mainly dry weather, most field crops should be coming off the fields with a fairly low moisture...
Breaking news–propane prices have stayed low! I’m trying to rev up the fact that propane prices haven’t moved much in many months, but it’s pretty tough to make something out of nothing. So for now, I guess, we should be thankful that they have stayed low, helping out everyone’s budget. Had a good holiday week...
